the cultural problem of educational systems

My problem with existing education systems is that they are wholly unprepared to adapt to knowledge-age economies, politics, and learning. At issue is the possibility of cultural change in education systems, not technology-use. Technology-use will change and evolve when there is a culture of adaptation, experimentation, and knowledge-era networks instead of cultures of standards, prescriptive application of universal models, and authoritarian knowledge transfer. Education systems face a cultural problem, exacerbated by dynamic, evolving technological cultures outside educational institutions.
